Compare Housing Costs

This is a Swedish market specific tool to compare your current monthly housing costs with a potential purchase of a new property. This tool uses Sweden's amortization rules, not the PMT() type standard function in Excel; which is based on the US model (and perhaps other countries). Sweden's mortgages are commonly 50 years. This is a limited alpha-release and is slanted towards selling an existin gproperty and buying a house.


Sales costs are the realtor's commission and a given moving cost <25 000.00 kr>. The commission model is a flat <65 000.00 kr> on the sale, and if the sales price is over the asking price, a 10% commission on the margin OVER.


Also, a guess monthly insurance cost for a 'house' is set at <600.00 kr>, as a rough guestimate.
